Summer is coming to an end, BUT what an AMAZING summer it has been!!! We have stayed busy with lemonade stands, swimming and routine visits to the Snow Cone shack:)
Just because the school year is starting, it doesn’t mean the colder weather is setting in anytime soon. We still have loads of beautiful days yet to enjoy, so let’s enjoy it to the most!!!
Today, I have teamed up with Birch Lane. We are talking all about Outdoor Spaces!
Right now is the time to buy outdoor items; everything is is on SALE! What a great way to get ready for next spring by creating your outdoor space now and not missing out on all the great savings!!!
Magic can happen in any space in your home INCLUDING outdoors! Outdoor areas can become an extension of your home, adding comfort and square footage. Creating a little corner of luxury!
Our outdoor space went from this….
TO THIS…
I am in LOVE with the Outdoor Collection from Birch Lane!!!
When I first started to design the outdoor area, I knew I wanted to use fresh crisp colors.
Birch Lane had the perfect selection of pillows to make this look come alive! I love blue… so I threw caution to the wind and mixed all shades of blue together. Adding a touch of Navy Stripe with a punch of floral was the perfect combination, while adding that hint of nautical.
White always makes things clean and bright so the cushions and fire pit created the element the space needed. Adding an outdoor rug on the patio gave that extra punch of color and comfort that is a needed element while working with outdoor spaces.
Even the smallest space can be changed into an oasis of paradise. Our patio only measures 10×12, so really any space you choose has possibilities;)
For even more ambiance, my husband hung bistro lights over the white pergola and
wired outdoor speakers for music.
It is now the perfect atmosphere for entertaining family and friends.
With any successful project having a vision is key. Our outdoor space is right outside my kitchen door. I knew I wanted something intimate and comfy. I wanted to create a setting for conversation and a place where my kids could capture memories of summer nights with family and friends.
When I design, I like my rooms to evoke a specific feeling, plus be a functional space…not just something pretty to look at. When I first undergo a project, I like to create a design board so I get a good feeling of what direction I am heading.
Here is the one I did for this particular project.
Here are just a few more pictures of the transformed outdoor space…
Looking so fresh and pretty with some items from
Remember….EVERYTHING in their outdoor collection is on SALE right now! Don’t miss out 🙂
Thanks again to Birch Lane
