The first time I styled these darling Christmas Jars was back in 2016 for a photoshoot with Better Homes and Gardens magazine, and they’ve been a family-favorite ever since! I have always loved Christmas villages! Their magic and glow has created such a deep Christmas memory in my heart that I wanted to bring this Christmas magic to my home, but I also wanted an easy and updated version of the traditional Christmas village. The Sugar Jar idea was the perfect solution!
When I was gathering all the supplies for my village, my first thought was to add fake snow, but at the time, I didn’t have any on hand so I glanced over at my baking flour and sugar jars sitting on the counter and a light bulb went off . . . SUGAR! It was the perfect solution for snow and something I had, on hand, and lot of so I went to work.

The first year, I found darling white ceramic houses at the Target dollar spot and added a unique bottle brush tree. I posted the Jars and they were an instant HIT! They got a lot of attention on Pinterest and even sparked the interest of Better Homes & Gardens.
The following Christmas, I was asked if my home could be Published in the Better Homes and Garden’s Christmas Ideas Magazine, they even filled any entire page of just the Christmas Jars! Fast forward to 2020, another magazine, Entertain and Celebrate-Holiday, reached out to highlight my home for Christmas. Once again, these Christmas Sugar Jars made another debut! I feel these beautiful jars really do resonate with people because it’s a fun and easy project. Most of the time, the supplies are already at your fingertips. Though the cost is very low, the IMPACT is amazing, beautiful and checks off that list of Christmas Magic!
