I never posted this from years ago. It was deep in my drafts š
The before and after of the space is really fun, so I thought I would finally publish it and share it with you all š It also reminded me how far we have come in life as well as the health challenges and cancer we overcame we our youngest son.
Here we are 4 years later and things are good and we are thriving!Ā ENJOY!
After the Whirlwind move from Southern Utah To Northern Utah to help my son and his medical needs, I didn’t have a lot of time to plan things out for the big move. This darling home opened up in just the perfect time for us to once again make another move. It truly felt like a God given blessing! This moved marked #3 in just 3 years.
I didn’t realize how much I need a “Home” a beautiful soft landing spot among beautiful trees and mountains. As far as my son, we are on track to getting him the help he needs.
We make an hour trip 1-2 days a week to The Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake. It is torture watching his little body go through so much! Blood draws, IV’s inserted and intense treatments given on a constant bases. I would never want any parent to face the things we have. But I am a STRONG believer of staying positive and being grateful for all our blessings. I try everyday to put on a smile even thought life is hard.
This Darling colonial home that we are renting is so charming, but far from perfect. Lets just say its full of character (haha). It really needed some TLC. So I got to work and cleaned it from top to bottom and added a few elements that even the Landlord was thrilled by.
A little wallpaper, space planning and creativity made this space very comfortable and perfect for what we needed. I know I will always look back with great fondness of this home and this era of our lives.
It has healed my soul and got me on track to what needed to happen to make our the next steps in life a possibility.
this home is and has also given me a TON of inspiration for the starting point of our new build. The Lord put us where we needed to be š
Today IĀ thought it would be fun to share the few before and afters of the Front Room.
The Front Room was the biggest challenge. When we moved in the carpet was a checked pattern and not a pretty 2 colored check… but a multi colored check .
With a few carpet squares from Amazon and a big rug we quickly transformed it while still making it renter friendly š
Loved how the Room Turned out!!
