Today I’m excited to share with you my Christmas Tree from Treetopia. As most of you might know, I love decorating for Christmas, especially Christmas trees! I was thrilled when I was chosen as a member of the 2015 Treetopia Design Council! I am a addicted to flocked trees and my new Treetopia Snowy Spruce Flocked made that love even deeper. This tree is AMAZING!!! I am in LOVE with my new tree from Treetopia!
I wanted to do something unique but classy for my tree. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do. After a little shopping 🙂 I decided this year’s theme would be Metallic Glow. I’ve been LOVING all the fun metallics popping up on Christmas Decor aisles. I just knew I needed to create a Silver and Gold Metallic tree of my own!
I started decorating this tree with first hitting up the dollar spot at Target for some white and neutral accents to balance all the bling. The Pom-Pom garland for $3.00 looks dynamite next to the gold and silver colors. I also found this AWESOME Marquee star at Target. I did a little “Jimmy-rigging” and wired the back of the star to the tree. The gold paper stars came from Target as well. You can see them stuffed in the tree here and there. I already had a good collection of silver and gold bulbs. I then added a silver Polka dot ribbon for that unexpected dimension. To finish it off, I placed the entire tree in a Home Depot galvanized bucket. I really love how this tree turned out!!!
